#29 - I don't know how to interpret this sentence. Do we mean (1) we export ecs_flat here so that the schema can then generate the typings or (2) we're exporting ecs_flat so that other people can use the schema ecs_flat provides to generate the typings we have in this package?

#27 - WDYT: Since we are otherwise just blindly inserting this string into the `ecs.version` field and it comes from an external source, is it worth performing some sort of validation here so we can fail with a useful error message if something unexpected comes back? Could be as simple as a [`semver.valid`](https://github.com/npm/node-semver) check.

#26 - Not a blocker for this PR, but probably could make our lives easier in the long-run by just attaching a `SPEC_IDENTIFIER` and `GROUP_SPEC_IDENTIFIER` (or similar), which could house everything in the `EcsGroupSpec` interface. Then fewer changes are required if we ever need to pull more data out of the group spec.
